Email and Push Notifications

  • Transactional emails: We send essential emails about your account (e.g., sign-in, security alerts, receipts). These are necessary for providing our service.
  • Product updates (optional): With your consent, we may send emails about new features and platform updates. You can opt in or out at any time.
  • Push notifications (optional): With your consent, we send app updates and transactional notifications to your browser or device. These are delivered via our provider, OneSignal.
  • Control: You can manage email and push preferences in your account settings, via the in-app switches, or by using the unsubscribe link included in non-transactional emails.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We only disclose your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With Your Consent: We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent.
  • Service Providers: We may share information with trusted third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting. These providers are obligated to protect your data and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.
  • For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our users or the public.

Notifications and OneSignal

We use OneSignal to deliver optional push notifications. OneSignal processes device identifiers (such as a browser or device token), approximate location (derived from IP), language, and your notification preferences to deliver notifications on our behalf.

  • Data we share with OneSignal: A device or browser identifier, notification preferences (opt in/out), and basic delivery metadata. We do not share your password or portfolio content with OneSignal.
  • Purpose: To send the push notifications you have opted in to receive.
  • Control: You can opt out of push at any time in your account settings, in your browser notification settings, or by using the in-app switches.

Google User Data

Our application's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We are transparent about how we handle your Google data:

  • Google Calendar Integration: We use the Google Calendar API to allow you to add events from our platform to your calendar. This feature requires your permission to access your calendar for the sole purpose of creating events.
  • No Data Sharing: We do not share, transfer, or disclose any of your Google user data with any third parties. It is used exclusively for the calendar integration within our application.
  • Limited Use: Information from your Google account is used only to provide and improve the calendar feature. We do not use it for any other purpose, such as advertising.

  • In-app switches: Toggle on/off App Updates and Transactional notifications (for both email and push) in your account settings.
  • Email: Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of non-transactional emails to stop receiving those messages.
  • Browser or device settings: Disable notifications from ExposureNT in your browser or device notification settings to stop push delivery.
